I’m Danny Zhang, a designer working at the intersection of art, design, and spatial experience. I approach design as a tool for inquiry—questioning norms, challenging assumptions, and imagining alternative ways of living and interacting with our environments. Whether I’m working on a collaborative interior intervention, a piece of handmade furniture, or a systems-based design study, I strive to create work that is both meaningful and responsive. I believe habit is the greatest enemy of design, and this belief fuels my curiosity and openness to experimentation. My recent projects have explored ideas of adaptability, belonging, and the beauty found in imperfection—often blending thoughtful research with hands-on making. I enjoy working in teams where shared knowledge, conversation, and iteration lead to impactful outcomes. At the core of my practice is a commitment to design that’s grounded, intentional, and always evolving.
